Robert Fowler here….

Welcome to our corner of the world. We are honored you took the time to check us out, and be a part of our musical journey. 

From our humble beginnings as “The III Band”, the trials and tribulations of our first EP, line up changes, the albums' recording, and production… to another line up change, and our current configuration, it has been quite the journey, so far….

We are getting ready to embark on a slightly different  direction with the new album (5 songs have been written, and are currently in the demoing stages), incorporating more progressive arrangements, and more adventurous playing… again, we will fully self produce this album.

There are talks in the works of a video shoot, possibly a live (studio) performance… maybe have a live audience for the shoot?

We are in the midst of prep for the bands initial run of shows, and will be the debut of our new drummer John Hernandez, and bassist Wes McNaughton. To be fair…It's nice to finally find the right “kindred spirits” for this journey… John comes from a background of progressive, and metal styles, his drumming is hard hitting, but with depth, and restraint. Wes is a journeyman bassist with a love of progressive rock, and fusion jazz… he's the quintessential role player, knowing when to rock out, and yet knowing when to lay back, and lay it down.

On my own personal journey, “Play Every Day” : improvement comes with dedication, and repetition… some of the new songs we're writing are, frankly, difficult to play… not from a sense of masochism (said laughingly), but rather from a desire to push my skill sets, and not let my limitations decide what I might want to write… most of the time, the song “knows” what it needs, and it will tell you what to play next… your job, learn to execute, and play with feeling… I have found, slow and steady, incremental progress, turns the impossible into reality.

Finally… you are here, so…thank you… our music is a niche market, we know that. It's with no small sense of humility that we embark on the “road less traveled… chasing the dream… not wanting to conform, or follow transient trends… the music industry, in a lot of ways, is broken… 100k songs a day released to ”Spotify" ( and other streaming services), half of which are AI (we'll have that conversation another time) is an insane amount of content vying for your precious time… We (and I, personally) reject the notion that our audience only wants 15 second TicTok videos… that their attention span requires an endorphin hit every 6 seconds or they scroll on… After trying the commercial distribution platforms, we decided to go with Bandcamp because the terms gave us more ownership of our art (that's important)… but we sacrifice being on the multitude of streaming platforms… but again, I'm not sure I (we) care… we're not interested in the charts, our mission is to create great art we can be proud of, and proud to share with you, live…
